Congratulations to the 25 members of Monroe-Woodbury’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) who will be representing the district at the national level in June 2026. M-W students attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference from April 15-17 in Rochester, where they competed against other state chapters in business-related events, participated in leadership workshops, and elected state officers. The state competition determined who moves on to states.

Monroe-Woodbury's Kiah Mehta was elected as the new State Vice President for District 3N, and will begin training over the summer. Special shout out to soon-to-be graduates Sanjita Raja, who did an outstanding job as State VP for District 3N, along with Siddharth Ranganathan, who served as State Reporter. Sanjita and Swathi were also inducted in the FBLA National Honor Society. Congratulations!

Monroe-Woodbury showcased a high level of achievement at the conference. Highlights include:

  • Swathi Sathiyamoorhy placed 4th in the most prestigious competition, Future Business Leader

  • Prasad Saha placed 1st in Coding and Programming

  • Shakti Kublall placed 2nd in Intro to Decision Making

  • Jackson Wernli & Hogan Long placed 2nd in Sports & Entertainment Management

  • Swathi Sathiyamoorhy & Sanjita Raja placed 3rd in Public Service Announcement

  • Tanay Shah placed 3rd in Healthcare Administration

  • Prasad Saha placed 3rd in Data Science AI

  • Logan Hong placed 4th in Data Science AI

  • Kiah Mehta placed 5th in Intro to FBLA

  • Logan Hong placed 5th in Intro to Programming. An extra shoutout to Logan for being a first time competitor and placing in all his events.

  • Sanjita Raja and Siddharth Ranganathan were runners-up in Sales Presentation

  • Anthony Lanari was a runner-up for Public Speaking

  • Tanay Shah won Career event for Program of Work
