The Monroe Woodbury High School Senior Art Seminar serves as the culmination of four years of artistic development for dedicated visual arts students. Under the guidance of the art department, seniors in this intensive course refine their individual portfolios, expand their artistic skills through the exploration of new techniques, and enrich their conceptual understanding by incorporating art historical references. This pivotal year encourages students to delve into their personal artistic identities, fostering a deeper understanding of their own creative voice. The journey culminates in a district-wide art show, providing a platform to display their honed talents, and a final June portfolio presentation, where students articulate their artistic journey, highlighting their skills, interests, challenges overcome, and significant growth throughout their time at M-W.
