MWHS students Lidia Zarate Gonzalez and Isabella Riva have been selected as members of the 2026-2027 National Student Leadership Council (SLC) for Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). These Crusaders join a group of outstanding student leaders representing communities across the country.
Lidia and Isabella were chosen for their commitment to fostering safer communities and encouraging positive peer influence. Beginning with this year’s campaign, 100 Safest Days of Summer, their recognition highlights their ongoing efforts to inspire better decision making among their classmates and within their community.
