school meals are on us. No cost breakfast & lunch

Every student in Monroe-Woodbury Central School District can receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at school every day at no cost to families. Participation for your children began the very first day of school without having to pay a fee or submit an application!

School meals play an important role in reducing food insecurity and ensuring students have access to nutritious food each school day.

Breakfast is available at all schools upon arrival and lunch is served daily in the cafeteria. There are a variety of choices: protein, whole grains, vegetables, fruits and milk. All school meals adhere to strict federal nutrition guidelines aligned with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, incorporating food choices designed around student preferences.

Bringing lunch from home? No problem! Crusaders can still choose three or more of the school meal components at no cost. (Choosing only milk is $.75). For any allergy or dietary concerns, each school nurse will work with Food Services to ensure the student’s account is updated and meals are modified as needed.

We encourage all students to participate and support their school food service program!
