Dear Monroe-Woodbury summer program participants,
I hope that you and your family members are enjoying the start of your summer break. I am writing to update families regarding updated mask requirements for summer programs.
The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) recently released guidance giving school districts the option of following summer camp requirements, which encourage but do not mandate students to wear masks. However, students who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear masks.
Students and staff must continue to wear masks while on school vehicles, for programs offering transportation.
These updated guidelines apply to MWHS Summer School, Summer Crusaders Program and Summer Bridges Program. School districts await further information regarding the 2021-2022 school year.
