Joseph Gonzalez, a senior Art Major at MWHS, was recently selected to receive a scholarship through the National Puerto Rican Day Parade (NPRDP) organization. The NPRDP celebrates Puerto Rican culture, arts, education and history throughout June, culminating with a parade in New York City on June 12. As a scholarship recipient, Joseph was invited to march in the parade this past weekend!
Joseph's teachers characterize him as determined, extremely talented, and always willing to help his peers. Joseph will be attending Alfred State College next year, with the intent to get his Bachelor's Degree in Game & Interactive Design.
