Congratulations to the 19 new members of the Monroe-Woodbury High School Chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, inducted during a ceremony on October 27, 2022. The ceremony included wonderful performances by talented high school musicians. 

Tri-M stands for Modern Music Makers and is an international music honor society founded in 1952.  Tri-M currently has over 2,100 chapters and involves more than 84,000 students throughout the country and around the globe. It is designed to recognize exceptional music students that meet the music, academic, and character criteria as recommended by the National Association for Music Education. 

Tri-M is composed of junior and senior students enrolled in music class at Monroe-Woodbury High School who also participate in additional music ensembles and demonstrate high academic achievement. Monroe-Woodbury High School is fortunate enough to have their own Tri-M chapter, founded in 2019.
