Ahoy! Happy Friyay! Today’s Super High 5 goes to CVE's Principal Michael Barone. Mr. Barone worked with the amazing food services staff to serve lunch and wrap up National School Lunch Week. Mr. Barone enjoyed a yummy slice of pizza with the students and since he remembered to eat all of his fruits and veggies, all of the kids earned an extra healthy snack!

Ahoy! M-W is celebrating National School Lunch Week from October 14-18. This year's campaign theme, ā€œSchool Lunch Pirates: Find Your Treasure,ā€ highlights the importance of a healthy school lunch to a student’s success both in and out of the classroom. School lunches offer students fruits and vegetables, whole grains and milk, and meet federal nutrition standards limiting fat, calories, and sodium in all meals. Additionally, all M-W students are eligible to eat both breakfast and lunch at school free of charge, every day! šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļøšŸŽ
