The art wing at MWHS is buzzing with activity as our Senior Art Majors work on their portfolio pieces for the upcoming District Art Show! 🖌️✍️🖼️

Monroe-Woodbury proudly continues its tradition of celebrating the senior class by recognizing each student by name on the Route 32 and MWHS electronic signs—ensuring every member of the class is honored and celebrated. A student’s name will appear on both signs for 24 hours (from midnight to midnight) and will be organized in alphabetical order by last name. Approximately 8-9 students will appear each day from Wednesday, April 15, through Thursday, June 25. No names will be posted on May 24-26 over Memorial Day weekend or on June 19 for Juneteenth.
Get those cameras and phones ready for photos of our seniors with their names in lights! Please join us in celebrating the amazing Monroe-Woodbury High School Class of 2026!
Please check the District Website for more information.

Activities included “Walk in Our Shoes,” which featured simulations highlighting the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities. Other events focused on relationship building such as the classic, “Rock, Paper, Scissors” and “Crusaders Choose Love,” where students and staff wore purple as a sign of unity.
During lunch periods, a curated section by the library featured diverse authors and a kindness clothespin activity where students wrote kind and encouraging notes to pin on their peers.
Author and motivational speaker James McLeod, also known as "That Vitiligo Guy," shared his personal story, focusing on how he overcame bullying and learned to embrace his unique appearance.
Students and staff alike had the opportunity to learn more about themselves and deepen their understanding of the people who make up their community through these meaningful events. 💜🧩
