SRJSU PRESENTS FREE FRIDAY MOVIE NIGHT - FEBRUARY 4 @ 6 PM FOR MWHS STUDENTS ONLY -- Kick off Black History Month and support the SRJSU by coming out to Movie Night! Friday, 2/4 SRJSU presents Marvel's "Black Panther" for MWHS students only. Doors open at 5:30pm; show starts at 6:00pm. Admission is free. Refreshments will be sold at intermission. Students must present an MWHS Student ID to enter. Parents are welcome to accompany a student who presents an MWHS ID. Masks and social distancing will be required.


WOW! Shout out to MWHS student-athlete Mia Sisilli who won the 1500 meter race walk at the New Balance Games held January 22 at the Armory in NYC. Her time of 7:30:03 was the SECOND FASTEST IN THE NATION this winter season! Way to go, Mia! #crusaderpride #mwfam #mwinspiresuccess


Post HS Planning Workshop for Juniors and their families - Thursday, February 3 @6 pm
This Guidance Department presentation will discuss the features of the college application process, including Naviance, the Common Application, scholarships and more. There will also be time at the end for general questions and answers. All juniors and their parents are encouraged to attend.

To the Class of 2023 and 2024 -- Essential Prep is returning for the March 2022 SAT! Our student-led program offers free SAT prep for over a month to prepare for the upcoming SAT on March 12, 2022. New and returning students are welcome to join!
The SAT is a crucial aspect of the college application now more than ever due to the pandemic. Our program is highlighted towards those who do not have access to a more expensive or professional tutor or preparatory course and for anyone who would like extra assistance. It is a first-come first-serve basis, so if you are interested in access to the program make sure to sign up right away! Registration ends January 23, 2022.

Important message from the M-W Food Services Department


M-W schools closed - Friday, January 7, 2022 -
Based on weather forecasts calling for periods of heavy snow resulting in ice and snow covered roads overnight and tomorrow morning, all Monroe-Woodbury schools and offices will be closed on Friday, January 7, 2022. There will be no in-person or remote instruction and all after school activities are canceled. Transportation will not be available for out-of-district students.
We are hoping that this advance notification will allow families time to make necessary arrangements.
