At the start of each school year, Orange County conducts an emergency early dismissal drill. This year the drill will take place on Friday, October 11, and students will go home 15 minutes early. Parents and guardians should be prepared for students to arrive home 15 minutes earlier than usual. Thank you!

The MWHS Humanities Program kicked off its 11th year on September 27 with a full house! Students and teachers in the MWHS Humanities program gathered together in community to share what the program means to them and how they have grown as a result of being a part of the program. Students also heard inspirational messages from their teachers about how Humanities shaped them as professionals and lifelong learners. We were grateful to have some special guests that included the HS building administrators, members of the Board, and members of Central Administration, including Dr. Tracy Norman, Superintendent of Schools, who also shared some words of wisdom with the students and staff.
