MWHS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is hosting a Blood Drive on Friday, March 11 from 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the MWHS Wrestling Room. Anyone age 16 years or older may donate. Little Miracles is an on-site part-time preschool at MWHS, part of the Childhood Education curriculum. Students plan lessons, prepare materials and serve as teachers as part of their grade. For registration and schedule information, visit the Little Miracles page on the website.

Music Boosters Scholarships reward students in grades 5-12 who demonstrate outstanding musicianship and dedication in Chorus, Band or Orchestra. Scholarships in the form of cash awards are presented to winners at spring concerts. Details are on the website. Deadline is March 7!

This week at North Main, according to the students in Ms. Bennett’s class, they became celebrities! On Wednesday, February 2nd, as part of World Read Aloud Day Ms. Bennett’s 2nd grade class joined several thousand other classes around the world in watching various authors read their stories. Out of three thousand classes in the session Ms. Bennett’s class was picked to read a portion of the book! The students were so excited to have this opportunity!

All after school activities and athletic events are canceled today, Friday, January 28, 2022, due to the impending snow. The YMCA Club Kid program is also canceled. All school buildings will be closed this evening and tomorrow, Saturday, January 29. Stay warm and safe!
