Transitioning to second grade can be challenging, but teachers such as Mrs. Capen of Pine Tree help students adjust to the expectations and culture of a new classroom.

Mark your calendars! As a result of unused inclement weather days, all Monroe-Woodbury schools and offices will be closed for students and staff on Friday, May 23, 2025. Out-of-district students will be transported on May 23 if their programs are open.
As planned, the school district will be closed on Monday, May 26, in honor of Memorial Day and we will welcome students back to the buildings on Tuesday, May 27. 💜

Our trained staff will guide you through the process as you get behind the wheel of a school bus in a supervised, hands-on experience right in the Central Valley Elementary parking lot.
Participants must have a valid driver’s license.
