We appreciate all School-Related Professionals at M-W who work hard each day to ensure the well-being of our students. You're the best! 💜🌟

Staff members from the Transportation Department and the Education Center met at the Bus Garage to deliver their donations of 390 handmade blankets destined for the arms of children who are "seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need.”
Project Linus has donated more than 9 million blankets to "children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug" since 1995 and M-W has been supporting their mission for several years. We are proud of our "blanketeers" for their kindness and caring, and for the many hours spent creating this mountain of hugs!💜🤗

Check it out! Mr. Peterson recently taught a 2nd grade PT classroom a STEAM lesson on catapults. 👀😲 The students learned how to set up an experiment and how changing a variable will change the results. How cool!💡Who wants to be in this class?🙋🏻♂️

WHO AM I? Mrs. Capen's 2nd grade class at Pine Tree welcomed their first "Mystery Reader" of the year. Students received the following three clues:
1-She is a doctor and delivered a lot of babies.
2-She lives in Massachusetts with her two big dogs.
3-She loves to read and make little "book wagons"
When the mystery reader arrived, she read a story to the class and answered students' questions related to her clues. Who was she? Classmate Mila's aunt! We can't wait to see who visits Mrs. Capen's class next month! 💜📚❓
