Today's Happy Friyay is filled with kindness! MWMS twins Madison and Hailee Lendor have hearts of gold. After a fire destroyed their neighbor’s home, the Lendor twins jumped into action. The twins, who have a passion for baking and community service, baked more than 1,500 cookies overnight and donated all proceeds to the family affected by this tragedy. Madison and Hailee’s compassion are an inspiration to the entire M-W community!💜

The Alcohol and Drug Awareness Council of Orange County (ADAC) and POW’R Against Tobacco combined efforts to educate MWMS students about the dangers of smoking and vaping. During lunch periods, the organizations joined students to celebrate the Great American Smoke-out, sharing valuable information about the harmful effects of tobacco and vaping on the body. The sessions also highlighted the predatory marketing tactics used by the tobacco industry to target young people. Students actively participated and earned prizes while learning how to make healthy choices. 🚭💪
