WORLD READ ALOUD DAY will take place on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Similar to last year, Monroe-Woodbury will be participating in our classrooms, as well as encouraging students and family members to share their storytelling images from home via social media with the hashtag #mw2023wrad. Families may also email photos, including students' names, grades and schools, to communications@mw.k12.ny.us.
For 13 years, WORLD READ ALOUD DAY has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read-aloud. We cannot wait to see what our M-W families are reading!

Congrats to MWMS 6th grader Gigi Sullivan, Wrestling Champ at Tulsa Nationals in her weight class (12U, 84 lb) and her younger brother, JJ, 3rd grader at Pine Tree, who earned 5th place (10U, 64 lb) in his weight class. Amazing!💪🏼⭐️💜
