On Friday, September 26, Monroe-Woodbury will GO GOLD in honor of all those people who are fighting cancer, those who have won the battle, and the angels watching over us. Every patch of gold carries a story. We wear gold as a show of compassion for our families, friends, neighbors, colleagues, alums and all members of the M-W family who have been impacted by pediatric cancer.
Crusaders, wear gold or yellow on Friday, September 26, to show that hope is powerful and we are truly a school family that supports one another. 🎗️#mwgoesgold

Reminder: All M-W schools are closed on Tuesday, September 23 and Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in observance of Rosh Hashanah.

Please note: The District Tax Office has moved to a temporary location at 14 Church Street, Harriman, NY 10926. Residents who wish to pay their tax bill should go to this location. Thank you!
On Friday night North Main hosted a Back to School Bash where Crusaders enjoyed face painting, ball games, and life-sized versions of Tetris and chess. What a great way to start the school year! ♟️🏈

“Pine Tree has HEART” reminds students and teachers to be hardworking, empathetic, to act safely, be respectful and be team players while in school and in their community. Pine Tree students are already doing an excellent job achieving these goals!

A heartfelt thank you to the Village of Harriman for their generous support during their annual school supply drive! 🎒📚 Their donation of backpacks, notebooks, pens and more will make a big difference for our Monroe-Woodbury students. Representatives from the Village recently visited Central Valley Elementary to personally deliver the supplies—what a wonderful show of community spirit! 💜🙏

During Opening Day, members of the Monroe-Woodbury staff were recognized for 20, 25, 30 and 35 years of service. Visit the district website www.mw.k12.ny.us for a full list of names. Congratulations! 💜🎉
