Along with the Monroe Police Department, the Kids Changing the World Club held its first Toy Drive to benefit kids in the M-W community. During the last week before winter break, members of the Kids Changing the World Club gathered at the Monroe Police Station where they delivered and distributed toys they helped to collect to district children. It was a perfect way to give back to the community and kickstart the holiday season.🎁🤗🙏

On Friday, December 15, the Kids Changing the World Club delivered hats they had collected to Garnet Health Medical Center's Cancer Center. These hats were collected during the club's annual Hats for Hope Drive to benefit cancer patients at the hospital. For the first time, the Crochet for a Cause Club at the high school also took part in this drive by donating a bag full of hats that they created during club meetings this fall. It was a perfect partnership of two clubs coming together for a worthy cause. Shown are members of the Kids Changing the World Club with their donations at the Cancer Center. Well done, Crusaders!
